Here are some examples of my experience with content strategy:
- At Monster.com, I built out 11 new content channels, each of which included microsites, newsletters, message boards, and related collateral. Analyzing user feedback and analytics, I worked to build a content strategy that met the needs of the business (driving more traffic to particular areas in support of Product) and the consumers. As a result, traffic nearly doubled.
- At Fidelity Investments, I led the web content strategy for the company's recruitment sites. After launching a new recruitment website, building regional and business unit microsites, and integrating localized mobile and print campaigns, the amount of applicants for positions increased in every region.
- Also at Fidelity, I organized, scheduled, launched, and managed the content for the mutual fund (FMRCo) unit's first-ever website.
- Designed and taught a content strategy course for juniors and seniors in the Communications Media department at Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts
- Led the content strategy for and managed the redesign of the Harvard Divinity School website and related co-branded content
- Proposed and managed the redesign of Liberty Mutual Insurance's internal communications for their corporate training group
- Wrote the ebook Content Crash Course: 25 Ways to Create Content Your Customers Want.
